Looking for POB (previously ACES) building at UT campus

IDEAL is in the room 3.106 of the POB (ACES) building at UT campus. POB is at the southeastern corner of the 24th street and Speedway. The picture shows the UT area where POB is located.

Information regarding driving to UT campus

There are six guard shacks in the four main directions of entering UT campus. Two at Speedway, two at the San Jacinto, one at the 24th street and one at the 21st street. Vehicles without proper parking tickets are not allowed to enter normally during the time period of 7am-5:45pm. Sometimes driving through is allowed. However, they do provide help for visitors on parking information and directions. The nearest garage to our lab is outside the east guard shacks, just beside the intersection of 24th street and San Jacinto.

From Austin Bergstrom International Airport to UT campus

If you are outside Austin, you may want to come here by plane. Once you are at Austin Bergstrom International Airport, you can rent a car to drive here.
Driving directions can be get from Yahoo maps by entering airport code AUS as starting address and 24 & Speedway, 78712 as destination.

Or follow the rather simple and easy direction here:
1. Take Hwy. 71 West from the airport.
2. Drive along Hwy. 71 until you reach the intersection with I-35.
3. Follow the traffic sign carefully to switch to north I-35.
4. Go north on I-35 approximately 5 miles.
5. Follow the exit sign for 26th street.
6. Take the circle ramp exit out of the service road, and enter 26th street.
7. Go west on 26th street
Or you can wait for the shuttle bus #100 at the Main Terminal lower level. You need get off the shuttle at the corner of 26th and Speedway. More detailed information about the route map and schedule is available in the Austin Capital Metro Company website.

From I-35 to UT campus

No matter which direction you are driving along I-35, take proper exit signs to exit to the 26th street. Go west along the 26th street to enter UT campus. The following picture may illustrate the traffic route.
